Our Services
Prolotherapy involves targeted injections into areas of discomfort, utilizing a personalized medication blend to incite inflammation and trigger healing through white blood cell activation. Post-injection discomfort may persist for 2-3 days. Detailed post-procedure instructions will be provided, including guidance on managing discomfort and promoting optimal healing. Follow-up with Dr. Grote in 2-4 weeks is recommended to assess progress and make any necessary adjustments to the treatment plan. This follow-up ensures ongoing support and monitoring throughout the patient’s recovery process.
Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) involves multiple injections of your own platelets into areas of pain. After drawing your blood, we centrifuge it to extract your platelets, which are then injected under ultrasound guidance to targeted sites. Expect discomfort that evening and for the following 2-3 days. Detailed post-procedure instructions will be provided, and a follow-up with Dr. Grote in 2-4 weeks is necessary for monitoring and further guidance.
Neural Therapy is a treatment aimed at stabilizing the autonomic nervous system to naturally enhance bodily function and alleviate chronic pain stemming from trauma, scars, and surgery. It involves injection therapy that restores autonomic nervous system function, thus addressing pain resulting from autonomic dysfunction. The treatment’s scientific rationale lies in the use of local anesthetics to normalize the firing of autonomic nerves, thereby alleviating pain caused by abnormal nerve signals. The frequency and quantity of injections are determined by the extent and location of scars and dysfunctional ganglia. Typically, patients undergo three or four weekly sessions, although relief may be achieved after one or two sessions, or may require up to seven, eight or more sessions. In many cases, the alleviation of symptoms is long-lasting or even permanent, with retreatment after resolution being the exception rather than the norm.
Mesenchymal stem cell (MSC) or stem cell therapy involves using your own stem cells extracted from abdominal fat. These stem cells are then processed, combined with PRP, and injected into painful sites under ultrasound guidance. Expect discomfort that evening and for the following 2-3 days. Specific post-procedure instructions will be provided, and a follow-up with Dr. Grote in 2-4 weeks is necessary.

At Premier Health Associates, Dr. Grote is uniquely qualified to bring our vision to life. “As an internist, I possess a comprehensive understanding of all the body’s systems. Additionally, as a DO and former Olympic-level athlete, my insight into the musculoskeletal system exceeds the typical internist’s knowledge,” he explains.
In December 2009, Dr. Grote published a groundbreaking article in the International Journal of Musculoskeletal Medicine, detailing the successful healing of a complete ACL tear using Prolotherapy. With double board-certification, his practice encompasses internal medicine, prolotherapy, PRP, and autologous stem cell therapies.
“Excellent practice”
“Dr. Grote has been my doctor for almost 15 years and has treated me successfully for a number of different conditions including prolotherapy for a weight lifting injury. When he is not in the office, his other doctors have also done well by me in a pinch. And the nurses have also been quite helpful. I think it is an excellent practice.”
